Aleph Beauty gift cards are issued and held in New Zealand dollars (NZD), which is our store currency.
If you are shopping in another currency, such as AUD, you can still purchase and redeem a gift card. The amount you pay at checkout will be converted from the NZD gift card value into your selected currency using Shopify’s exchange rate at the time of purchase.
When the gift card is redeemed, the remaining NZD balance will be converted into your selected checkout currency using the exchange rate at that time. This means the local currency equivalent may change between purchase and redemption due to exchange-rate movements.
For clarity, a NZ$100 gift card remains a NZ$100 gift card, even if the amount shown or paid in AUD changes over time.
