Creating the iD Fashion Week Runway Look with Aleph Beauty

Creating the iD Fashion Week Runway Look with Aleph Beauty

April 06, 2023

This year we had the pleasure of being the official makeup sponsor for this year's iD Fashion Week in Dunedin. We caught up with Lead Makeup Artist Jade Brett to hear about the custom fresh makeup look she created for the two sell-out shows. Plus, learn how you can easily recreate this look at home.

With the brief from most of the designers this year being they want a "no makeup, makeup look," Jade had the task to ensure that the makeup used would suit each collection. “I meticulously went through each and every designer and emerging designer's collection to ensure that the makeup we used was perfect for each look. We added a graphic liner high on the lid for some runway drama”

In creating this year's makeup look, Jade also wanted to make sure it suited every model, regardless of their skin tone. Jade said “ I tried this look on various skin tones to ensure it was the right fit for everyone. And with that, I am proud to say that Aleph Beauty products are perfect for every skin type.”

One of Jade’s favorite Aleph products is our all-in-one Serum/Primer. “I have never worked with such a beautiful product. I use this on every single client, and I am currently on my third bottle. The serum is so light and luxurious, yet it provides the perfect amount of hydration and glow.”
