Day Three of NZFW looks to the future, with Aleph backstage for The Studio and Graduate Collections.

Curated by Dan Ahwa, The Studio brings together some of Aotearoa’s most exciting contemporary designers, while the Graduate Collections spotlight the next generation of emerging talent.

Across both shows, creativity, individuality and fresh thinking take centre stage. A celebration of where New Zealand fashion is now, and where it’s heading next.

Two shows, two moods, both designed to enhance individuality, support the fashion, and bring Aleph’s skin-first approach to the runway.

Skin was kept fresh, bronzed and dimensional using Concealer + Foundation mixed with Radiance Sun to a ratio of 3:1.

Eyes were softly defined with Multi-Liner Pencil Umber and Hybrid Eye Pigment Meteorite. 

The look was finished with supple, glossy lips using Multi - Liner Pencil Fig and Aura Gloss Bare.

For The Graduate Show, the direction moved into a more lived-in, expressive space: real skin, softened brows, rounded smoky eyes and a deeper glossy lip.

The finish felt modern and slightly undone, with neutral sculpting through the cheeks Using Concealer + Foundation 8.5 or Cheek + Lip Tint Terra.

Hazy eyes wear created using an unreleased shade Flux. 

The lips were deepened with Multi-Liner Pencil Umber and Aura Gloss Ember.
