Lips can be Transformative...
With a little colour, shading and highlight, you can easily redefine any lip shape. Here, we break down 7 techniques anyone can achieve with their Aleph Lip Brush and favourite Cheek/Lip Tint.
Smaller Lips vs Larger Lips
To create the appearance of smaller lips, conceal the outer edges of your lips with concealer and top with Prep/Finish Powder, then, take advantage of the precision of Aleph Lip Brush, draw your lip line slightly within your lip shape.
To create the appearance of larger lips, skip the concealer and draw your lip line just outside your lip shape.
Upper Lip vs Bottom Lip
To create the appearance of a larger upper lip, draw your lip line slightly just outside the upper lip.
To create the appearance of a larger bottom lip, draw your lip line slightly just outside the bottom lip.
Poutier Lip vs Wider Lip
To create the appearance of a shorter and poutier lip, draw your lip line slightly just outside the centre third of your upper and bottom lip. As you reach the outer corners, transition your lip line to the inside of your lip shape.
To create the appearance of a slimmer and wider lip, draw your lip line slightly just inside the centre third of your upper and bottom lip. As you reach the outer corners, transition your lip line to the outside of your lip shape.
A Contoured Lip
To create a contoured lip, use a darker and lighter shade in the same lip colour. Create your desired lip shape with Aleph Lip Brush first. Fill the outer thirds of your lip with the darker shade then fill the centre third of your lip with the lighter shade. Use a clean lip brush to blend the two shades together, creating your contoured lip.
Optional: create a poutier bottom lip by drawing a line down the centre of the bottom lip with the darker shade.
